Summer travels came late this year, but keep in touch; I've got lots to share in the upcoming months. I'll be in Oregon in August and hopefully that's just the beginning of a string of Roadtrips!

I've also got a catalog out and the response has been phenomenal! Hopefully you'll be able to see my work in boutique stores around California soon!

I'm continually inspired by art I find here, so I think it's time I did a feature journal.

Since the gallery has expanded, I've noticed that it needs organization...I've decided to separate my landscape/conceptual pieces from the portraiture, to make it all just a little easier to view.

I've begun transferring the portraiture to [link] , and will keep this account for landscapes and conceptual.

I have been extremely blessed to work with some phenomenal models/actresses/dancers/musicians lately, so make sure you add the new 11orchids site to see what I'll be posting!

Just a few thoughts...

~Recently a few of my photos were used on Pin Point Mercy's website [link] . I think the website looks great and I was thrilled that my pieces could be used in such an artistic manner. Nice job, Steve! (If anyone needs a website done, check out [link])

~I'm still accepting models for the Belief series. If you don't know about Belief, it's a photography book I'm working on, that I hope to finish in 2008. You can see some of the series in my gallery. If you'd like to participate, drop me a line...I'd love to have you. (Modeling experience is not necessary.)


~Also, the other day, Katy ([link]) contacted me about using a piece for her manipulations, which I think are fantastic, so it got me to thinking about collaborating with other artists, and my thought is this: if you'd like to use one of my pieces for your artwork, website, manipulation of whatever sort, feel free to contact me (send me a note or just comment on the piece) and I'll approve it on a case by case situation.



These are the basic rules for using my work in collaboration:


-Please send a note explaining how you'd like to use the piece. Give a brief idea of your concept.
-After given permission, please credit my work in your artist comment, and put a link back to the picture you used so people can find the gallery easily.
-Please ask permission to submit as print
-Do NOT use outside Deviant Art without our permission.
-Please do not submit as photography
-And please respect the models in your comments and modifications.

My new website is up. I couldn't be more excited...

It's just the front page, but I'm so pleased with how it turned out.

My friend Steve ([link]) designed it for me. He's doing a fantastic job...thanks Steve, I love it.
